January: A gentle but dynamic beginning to 2026
As we step into 2026, I hope this year supports your health, your wellbeing, your happiness, and your sense of forward momentum – in ways that feel aligned and sustainable for you.
The beginning of a new year often comes with a lot of external pressure: plans, expectations, resolutions, and an unspoken sense that we should already know where we’re heading. For me, a much quieter start feels important – one that values clarity over urgency and, this year, conscious, dynamic movement over pushing. I’ve done enough of that over the past few years.
I’ve found that looking at the energetic themes for the year, numerologically or astrologically, can offer a helpful perspective, highlighting where we might work with natural currents rather than swim against them.
In that context, 2025 was a year of completion. The numerology carried the energy of the number 9 – often associated with endings, closure, and the wrapping up of cycles. It wasn’t a year for new beginnings, but for finishing, releasing, and letting go. Astrologically, it was also the Year of the Snake: a time of introspection, shedding old skins, and deep internal change. Many of us felt that, personally and collectively.
2026: The Year of the Horse
(Fire Horse in Chinese Astrology: 17 February 2026 – 5 February 2027)
In contrast, the Year of the Horse is often associated with dynamic forward energy – courage, momentum, and decisive movement. With Fire in the mix, that energy calls for clarity, conscious choice, and action that comes from alignment rather than force.
Numerologically, 2026 is also a number 1 year – the beginning of a new cycle. After a long 9-year period of learning and release, it can feel like turning a page and starting afresh, with space for new direction and new beginnings.
This year, I’m meeting that energy by looking directly at some of the beliefs that can quietly stand in our way – those subconscious programmes that may once have made sense, yet now put the brakes on and limit forward dynamic movement.
Each month, I’ll highlight a common limiting belief that has the potential to hold us back. When outdated programming is brought into the light, a new perspective opens up. We can see things differently – and we get to choose how we move forward, consciously and with intent.
I’ll also be using PSYCH-K® as a practical way to support this process, both personally and with those I work with. If you’re curious to explore it for yourself, you’ll find ways to learn more or experience it by checking the information on the following pages: Learn PSYCH-K® or work with me 1:1.
Everything shared here reflects my own interpretation of the year’s energy – offered as a viewpoint, not a definition. If you were brought up within Chinese traditions or have a deeper understanding of numerology, I’d genuinely love to hear your perspective.
I’m grateful to have you here as part of this journey. My intention for the year ahead is simple: to offer short, thoughtful reflections that meet life as it is, and create space for meaningful change – without pressure.
Here’s to a year where conscious intention, subconscious support, and deeper wisdom are aligned – allowing dynamic movement to follow naturally and peacefully.
