A Year in Reflection: Your Seasonal Highlights
As we bring this year to a close, I wanted to offer you something that feels simple and supportive, especially if life has moved faster than expected this year.
Vicky reached out recently and said:
“Hi Sharon, Just wanted to say I love receiving your emails and this years theme inspired by the changing rhythms of nature has really resonated with me. I haven’t quite managed to use all the journal prompts and practices this year… Could you create a summary for those of us who want to reconnect with the essence of your seasonal reflections?”
And the answer is: yes, absolutely.
This year of seasonal reflections was born out of my own desire to connect more deeply with the rhythms of nature. Sharing my journey with you was a great way for me to honour one of my guiding words of the year, too – ‘consistency.’ So whether you realise it or not, you’ve helped me to stay accountable to my goal, since I committed to show up and share the journey with you all.
So here is your highlight reel of the year – the heart of each month, gathered into one place. A simple way to reconnect with the themes, the intentions, and the wisdom we explored together, without any pressure to do anything more than just pause and reflect.
🌿 Inspired by Nature: A Year in Reflection 🌿 (Highlights Edition)
Below are the key invitations from each month – the “essence” distilled.
January – Clarity & New Beginnings
A moment to orient yourself.
A reminder that you don’t need a perfect plan, just a clear starting point.
February – Reignite Your Inner Spark
The in-between month.
Where energy is low, patience is essential, and small steps still matter.
March – Spring Awakening
A gentle invitation to notice where new energy is emerging.
The season of possibility.
April – Planting Seeds
What you focus on grows.
Choose one intention and nurture it with care.
May – Stepping Into Your Power
Honouring your gifts.
Allowing confidence to grow without force.
June – Celebrate Your Progress
A midpoint pause.
Acknowledging the steps you have taken, not the ones you haven’t.
July – Find Your Flow
Follow what feels light and in flow.
Let summer remind you of ease and natural rhythm.
August – Realignment
A check-in moment.
What’s working? What needs adjusting? What’s asking to be simplified?
September – Return to Rhythm
The “second new year.”
A blend of structure and flow as routines return.
How can you maintain the lightness of summer and yet embrace structure and routine.
October – Transformation
A time of gentle letting go.
Releasing what’s complete to make space for what’s next.
November – Gratitude & Grounding
Reflecting on the support, people, and moments that carried you through the year.
December – Completion
The long exhale.
Honouring your journey and allowing rest before the next cycle begins.
If you only take one thing from this entire year let it be this: ✨
You’ve evolved more than you realise.
Even if you didn’t engage with the journal prompts.
Even if life was full and messy and fast.
Seasonal living isn’t about perfect consistency, rigid structure or living an idealised curated life –
it’s about learning to align and flow with the rhythm of nature a little more each month, listening to your own inner wisdom, even if it’s contrary to what others are saying/doing. ESPECIALLY, if it’s contrary to what others are saying/doing – in those moments, listen even more deeply to your own inner guidance!
A Gift for You
If you’ve enjoyed the journey this year and would like to continue it through next year and beyond, I’ve gathered the spirit of the whole series into one simple page. A wall chart that you can engage with each month, with space for notes next to little journal prompts you can interact with, too.

A way to continue aligning with nature in the coming year.
And, if you’ve engaged in the journey alongside me this year. I’d love to know your experience!
Final Words
Thank you for walking through the seasons with me.
For reading, reflecting, pausing and sharing – in whatever way was meaningful for you.
Remember, you don’t need to have done this year “perfectly” to have lived it purposefully.
With love and gratitude,
Sharon x
