1. Can you share a success story where PSYCH-K® had a significant impact on someone’s life, contributing to personal growth and well-being?

Since your subconscious beliefs establish the limits of what you can achieve, life can sometimes feel like a car being driven with one foot on the accelerator and one foot on the brake. When this is the case the chances are there is a conflict going on between your conscious goals and your subconscious beliefs. This kind of conflict can show up in your relationships, job performance, self-esteem, prosperity, even your physical health and day to day stress. If you’re facing challenges in any area of life you can align your subconscious beliefs with your conscious goals using PSYCH-K®, creating the potential to experience your life in a different way and allowing you to get back in the driving seat of your life, instead of your subconscious programs running the show.

This was the case for one participant who attended a PSYCH-K® Basic In-Person workshop with me recently. She wrote a testimonial about her experience that I can share below.

“Hi Sharon, hope you’re well. My life has pivoted in the best way since completing the PSYCH-K® workshop with you. After doing PSYCH-K® it’s like the veil was lifted and this creativity is just flowing through me. After 20 years of sitting on my gift of photography, I studied it in college but never did anything with it as I was stuck in programming and all the limiting beliefs. I’ve set up a business in 3 weeks… 3 weeks after 20 years of programming!

I simply listened to my intuition, kept taking the next right step and when I’d hit a block I’d do a PSYCH-K® Balance and move forward and in doing that, the universe/god/source has shown up to support, sending all the best people situations and ideas to support me. As a direct result of PSYCH-K® I can finally say I’m accessing my potential. I always knew it was there but I wasn’t accessing it fully. PSYCH-K® seems to clear all the cobwebs of limiting programming so that we can simply be who we came here to be. I’ve also worked with PSYCH-K® with numerous clients in my psychotherapy practice and equally they’ve been coming back with beautiful results.”

There are so many success stories like this that I could share about how PSYCH-K® has impacted the lives of others, as well as how it has impacted my life personally. PSYCH-K® has a 35 year track record of supporting people to make sustainable changes and as a result experience a more joyful, satisfying and harmonious life.

2. How do you tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client, and are there specific techniques you find particularly effective in certain situations?

Every client is different and they come to a PSYCH-K® 1-1 session with their own individual challenges, things they would like to change, and goals they’d like to achieve. That being said, we use a simple 4 step framework to guide us through the session, first exploring the current experience and then determining how they would like to experience this particular area of their life instead.

This naturally leads us to creating a Goal Statement (supportive belief) or to perhaps transforming the perception of stress around the situation, they will choose what feels the most appropriate way to work. We then proceed to make the change using a PSYCH-K® Balance (change process). There may be one or more Balances needed and at the end of the session, with the new subconscious potential now available to them, they can determine what action they are willing to take to fully experience the results.

We always work in partnership together and the Goal in facilitating a PSYCH-K® session is to create a space that allows the wisdom of the client (we call them the partner) to be revealed. Whether they realise it or not they already have all the answers within. Creating this space allows the Client to unlock their inner wisdom which will guide the session and the work we do together. Each session is unique to that particular person and any combination of PSYCH-K® Balances can be required in order to make the changes they are seeking.

The other thing to note is that the client’s subconscious mind will make the choice as to which PSYCH-K® Balance process is needed to make the change for each goal. This in itself makes the session unique as we both approach the process with a sense of curiosity, letting go of any expectations of how the change should happen. The journey within a PSYCH-K® session is both beautiful to witness and an honour to facilitate.

3. What are the key principles from contemporary neuroscience and ancient mind/body wisdom that form the foundation of PSYCH-K®? How do they work together in facilitating subconscious change?

In the PSYCH-K® Balance process we use muscle testing in order to communicate with the subconscious mind. We muscle test our desired Goal Statement (supportive belief), an example might be – I am safe; I am confident; I am worthy of a deep and loving relationship; change is easy for me, etc. Using muscle testing we determine whether this statement is true or false according to our subconscious programming. If we don’t already believe this statement, at the subconscious level of the mind, we can choose to continue with the Balance process to determine if it’s safe and in our best and highest interest to proceed to make the change.

Each Balance process has a unique combination of steps we go through in order to achieve our goal. One key component is the Whole Brain State, a balanced coherent state between left and right hemispheres of the cerebral cortex. This balanced identification between both hemispheres allows information to be processed by both hemispheres of the brain simultaneously. We have contemporary neuroscience research papers outlining what this Whole Brain State looks like, using brain mapping (EEG electroencephalogram).

Through this Whole Brain State we can experience high speed change. We can achieve our goals, integrate new beliefs or transform the perception of a stressful or traumatic event. From an ancient wisdom point of view science is now catching up and confirming what Yogi’s, for example, knew in ancient times.

One of the key principles and philosophies of PSYCH-K® is the understanding that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience and that, ‘the source of our difficulties and challenges come down to the belief in separation from Divinity; the Divinity of ourselves, the Divinity of others, and the Divinity of our environment. When the illusion of separation is dispelled, the reality of wholeness will appear. Wholeness in body, mind, and spirit. This is ancient wisdom in itself!

4. What common misconceptions do people have about the subconscious mind and changing beliefs? How do you address these with your clients?

Some common misconceptions are that change is difficult and painful and that it takes a long time. Also that you need to know the source of the problem, the limiting belief or where it came from, in order to make the change.

In the past, perhaps they have worked with affirmations that require repetition at the conscious level of the mind. Even with lots of repetition there is no guarantee that the affirmation goes as deep as the subconscious mind. So, repeating affirmations over and over using time and energy doesn’t always produce results.

Another example might be changing a habit. Many of us have had the experience of setting new year’s resolutions with the best of intentions. We join a gym or attempt to change a behaviour only to fail before the month has ended. This is because harnessing the conscious mind alone means that we are relying on willpower to make the changes.

The conscious mind represents only around 5% of our consciousness, whereas the subconscious mind, where our programming is stored, is nearer 95%. The conclusion being that change is difficult, requires repetition, energy and willpower and still doesn’t guarantee results. In order to create long lasting change it’s useful to make the changes at the deeper level of the subconscious mind.

None of the above is true when it comes to PSYCH-K®. Change can happen with ease and joy and it can take seconds to minutes to change a programme you’ve held your whole life. It’s also possible to transform the perception of stress around a traumatic event or a fear or phobia with ease in the same way.

Since the subconscious mind is below our conscious awareness, people can also be a little apprehensive about accessing that part of themselves, not knowing what will be revealed. However, PSYCH-K® is a process that is always guided by the partner/client and their goals, as defined by them. A PSYCH-K® Facilitator will simply support them to make the changes they desire by facilitating the Balance (change process).

Each Balance process also has an in-built permission protocol, ensuring that the changes we desire are safe at every level and supportive of our overall growth and evolution in life. This is especially reassuring when working with past trauma as we do not proceed to make the change unless we have permission from the partner’s superconscious to do so. This is something that sets PSYCH-K® aside from other methodologies and makes it a non-invasive spiritual process with psychological benefits.

5. How do you stay informed about the latest neuroscience research, and have there been recent discoveries that influenced your use of PSYCH-K® in practice?

I am fascinated by psychology, the brain and health and wellbeing in general as well as personal development and spiritual growth.
I stay abreast of new theories and ideas via a whole range of sources, books, podcasts etc. All these influence my own perspective on the world. However, nothing has influenced me more than my own personal and spiritual journey.

In fact a lot of my experience through PSYCH-K® has been a journey of unlearning, removing beliefs based on what I have been taught. The layers of conditioning that we take on through life is immense. These days my internal wisdom and the superconscious part of me is my guiding compass, so I am far more discerning about what I take on board as fact! I know it is simply one perspective. Curiosity is also one of my guiding principles and so the ability to question is important to me in discerning what I take on board. I encourage curiosity in my clients too.

6. What do you love most about your profession?

I am passionate about supporting change in the world, and I have a deep desire to create a world where our children can live in peace and we all live in harmony with nature.

I feel incredibly blessed that I am able to teach and facilitate PSYCH-K®. It offers the opportunity for empowerment, from the place of self-help on the journey towards self-realisation. PSYCH-K® is here for these challenging times, its overall purpose is to accelerate individual and global evolution by aligning subconscious beliefs with conscious wisdom. Never before have we needed PSYCH-K® as much as we do now, as we face catastrophic consequences from our human actions on Earth. PSYCH-K® is a gift to us all.
